Pokemon: Mewtwo Returns (2000)

Mewtwo, his heart having been softened by the selfless example of the human named Ash Ketchum back in his birthland in the eastern Kanto region, has now traveled to the western region of Johto in search of a locale that is unreachable by the prying eyes and harsh judgments of humans for the sake of his band of cloned Pokémon, whose welfare Mewtwo is entirely concerned about. He eventually finds the perfect hideaway: a huge mountain named Mt. Quena, surrounded by steep cliffs that are practically impossible to scale, but in its top is a forest and a freshwater lake that makes for a near-utopia for all the Bug Pokémon living there.

Pokemon: Destiny Deoxys (2004)

Ash and his friends May, her little brother Max, and Brock are traveling to the city of Larousse in order to battle their pokemon in the famous Battle Tower. There the meet Tory, a young boy who was traumatized by Pokemon as a child. He still has a great fear of the creatures, but Ash and the gang decided that it's their mission to rid Tory of this phobia. As Ash and Pikachu are doing their civic duty, Deoxys, a Pokemon from space, comes to Larousse. Four years ago it crashed on Earth at the North Pole, and had a fierce battle with Rayquaza, a Pokemon that lives in the upper atmosphere. It has spent all the time since regenerating, and is now searching the Earth for something. When Deoxys reaches Larousse, it makes hundreds of duplicates of itself which proceed to grab every person and Pokemon in the city. Though most people evacuate, Ash and the crew get left behind, and have to hid from the swarms of Deoxys while trying to figure out what it wants.

Pokemon 4Ever (2002)

This movie centers around the new pokémon Celebi, a one-of-a-kind veggie-like bug whose only kin are celebi from other points in time. The movie begins in the past where a young boy named Sam attempts to save Celebi from a hunter. In a reciprocal effort, Celebi uses his power and transports itself and Sam to the present, Ash Ketchum's time. Sam and Ash become good friends as they fight to save Celebi from the new Team Rocket villain, the Iron-Masked Marauder and his darkball, which turns pokémon evil and augments their powers to the maximum. Yet, one rare pokémon isn't safe without help from another - thus enters Suicune, a.k.a. the North Wind.

Pokemon: The First Movie (1999)

When Ash and his friends stumble upon a Pokémon-only vacation resort, they decide to let their Pokémon have a day of fun and relaxation and let all their Pokémon out as the trainers go relaxing on their own. Pokemon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew (2006)

Ash arrives at Cameron Palace where a festival is being held to celebrate Sir Aaron, an ancient hero who averted a war that was about to begin outside of the Tree of Beginning. Pokemon: The Movie 2000

As with before, the faces of the main human characters are unseen. When Togepi falls down a dark hole, Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Marill, Venonat, and Psyduck give chase and find themselves in a giant tree that once was Pikachu’s old home. With help from Pikachu’s friend, Elekid, the Pokémon find Togepi but she has been mistaken for an Exeggcute egg. The Pokémon head off into the depths of the tree to find the missing egg, meeting a trio of dancing Bellossom along the way. A deadly storm hits the area and Pikachu and his friends try to protect the Exeggcute eggs from being blown away.
